Being a used car dealer im used to buying second hand ie auctions and can take a problem on the chin, but theres one thing i have found is by from a dealer pay that bit extra for peace of mind and a bit of comback for when and if things go wrong, lets face it there glued/bonded/nailed together like a model kit so its good to have a point of contact if theres a drama BUY private and your on your own!

We would never keep a van that long Bailey or Swift. Not surprised it leaked. We have never had a leak from the outside in 8 vans from Swift over 25 years. You must have had a bad one.

There are many people, and many of them are on this forum, that have vans well over 11 years old! Not everyone can afford to change their caravan very often!
11 years is not very long for a quality product to last, and as for saying you are not surprised it leaked at that age, I think most people would be surprised at what you said!
I'm lucky in that I can afford a new one!
