Don't be put off! You are now well equipped with the knowledge you've gained from this first caravan. Definitely well worth getting a damp meter - we used the Rapitest meter. It's £18 plus p&p and gives you a good indication of damp. It's never going to be as good as the expensive ones but we found it did the job well for us. Good on you for fighting your corner by the way.
so can i just check you are not covered if you buy a caravan from Ebay ? paypla will not refund if you have any problems with the goods? (not as advertised)?
