"My heaven is sitting on the shore of a Lake in Cumbria, surrounded by mountains with my husband watching the dogs paddle happily then back to our lovely caravan to cuddle up, with a glass of something nice and then wake up to the sounds to the birds and the sheep."
Now we're talking!!!!!

Sadly, we had to spend the weekend in a Premier Lodge in Birmingham city centre. We were at a Concert Circle meeting, and it was a logistical nightmare to take the caravan, so it was a necessary evil.
I know which I prefer. At 1.00am on Sunday, there were four shootings just a mile away, and when we went out of the hotel in the morning, there was a complete set of men's clothing on the pavement just outside. I doubt the two things are connected, but we spent the next few minutes looking for a naked man - just out of curiosity, I hasten to add.

<!--bmi_SafeAddOnload(bmi_load,"bmi_orig_img",1);//-->Thanks Alan, we are flying with Thomsons, and despite my request for assistance to their customer service department to get through the massive airport at Palma last time we went with them, they failed to provide the promised Buggy ride for me as i didnt have a wheelchair booked onto the flight, I had booked to hire a mobility scooter in resort instead. I ended up using the travelator escalator type things they have, and I was pretty exhaused by the time i reached baggage reclaim from having to try jumping off each one as it came to an end. The annoying thing was that on our way out we passed several of the buggy drivers just standing talking in a group waiting to be called to do their work.
After complaining to the rep in resort though we did manage to get a buggy ride through to departures when we returned home. Thomsons also caused problems for their less mobile customers by using double dekker busses for the transferes to the hotel, with again only a handfull of about 6 downstairs seats available for the wheelchair users, leaving the elderly and less disabled to negotiate a steep spiral staircase up onto the top deck.
I think i may put my request in writing this time and see if that works any better, if only they were as efficiant as the Mobility scooter hire company who were waiting at the hotel for me with the scooter fully charged up and ready to go!

Not a bad idea - but as a result of the new API requirements the airline now have to collect certain information about you.
The best bet is to contact the TUI call centre in Coventry directly (or if you have booked through a travel agent get them to do it for you!)
The Dusit Hotel in Thailand,,,is one of our favourite's,,,,love the place been there loads and loads of times, fantastic winter destination when we have put the caravan away for the winter and fly off to our second home, down side is it takes so long to get there you lose 2 days travelling !!!!
