I agree with much that has been written here.  We love our fixed bed - and we have a rear washroom that goes right accross the rear of the van.  Not a fan of the smaller 'combi' wash/wet room, and I agree with the comment about the centre washroom being darker and making the van feel more claustrophobic.  When we had a fixed bed van with a central/side washroom, although the washroom was fairly large with a seperate shower, you could only sit on the loo with the door open - no room for the legs!!

With a rear washroom and a side double fixed bed, the washroom is a reasonable size - very useable.  The double bed with a small corner cut off is comfortable and not claustrophobic.  I was anxious about the cut off bit before we had the van, but I honestly do not notice it (and I sleep that side).  The lounge area is a little smaller, but we have found it absolutely adequate, and besides, we sit out in the awning more than use the van, especially in the summer.
