What do you do if you're shopping in town & need a wee Esther ?
Wait til I get home or find a shop/restaurtant that i know has decent facilities & will have loo roll & soap and yes I do open the doors with my elbows, it's amazing how many people walk out of the cubicle & out of the door without washing their hands.
I remember at school doing a science experiment where we had to take swabs off the taps & door handles in the toilets & grow the bacteria in a petri dish, it was eye opening to see just how much bacteria grew.
I will post a review about this and mention the lack of. You soon train yourself to take the things you need with you along to the loos, as I did though.
No there is no warning there that you have to take your own, there should be.
A few 'please put the seat up gents - it may be shorter than you think!' signs might have been useful too, as it was unisex....

I sometimes do the `elbow trick' too ! That's just it though - you can't always wait till you get home.... but you try to make sure if you do `go' away from home you pick a place with decent facilities. Exactly the same with campsites - I wouldn't use them either if they weren't up to scratch. I'm pretty fussy myself OH is even worse !

I don't think there is anything wrong with a site not providing loo roll and soap so long as they tell you this or put a sign up before you go in!
Since it is fairly common abroad, it is my job to do a recce of the toilets while OH winds down the feet. That way we don't get caught out!
