The main issue with blocking tap heads is lime scale depositing there as the residual wetness left after each use evaporates; the filter will not alter that. Evaporation accelerated with warm/hot water.
Hopefully, it will not have to save "lots of minute particles of sand" as it should only be in service for about a month, the water supply on site should be to domestic standards and sand will drop out in the resting water in the Aqualroll etc.

Or bits of carbon from a burst filter. We live in an area where the water has almost no temporary hardness and not excessive amount of permanent either. As a result I never consider lime scale as an issue. This is not to say areas where do camp are the same so I must check the taps sometime

Quoting Boff:
"Or bits of carbon from a burst filter"

If that happens, and I know it does, it is almost certainly due to a filter being left far far too long in place and physically the retaining membrane rotting. Not the best situation in a water supply.

Ironic and academic - we went to the local dealer to buy a spare subby...and came out with s lunar clubman. Most expensive pump I ever bought. So Elvis will be up for sale.

Hi Cugsy you say it took a hr to get water water thought, first off have you shut system drain valve check under van to see if you have water pouring out below when pump running.

Also make sure all taps in van are shut off then open kitchen tap to cold only, once deairated turn tap to hot only to get rid of air in hot water heater and check no water is flowing out of heater outlet tee on air vent side usually fitted with clear plastic pipe.

If ball is jammed open with bit of dirt because of no filter in system flow to tap will be reduced.

Also check aerator on tap outlet is clear this will reduce the flow if part blocked.

If all is okay then it looks like your pump is worn
and needs replacing.

If you go to a decent caravanspares shop you should be able to purchase just the pump and the electric wires attached then rebuild using all the other pieces of the old pump pipe shroud socket etc.

I replaced just the pump on one of my two pumps last year
but it did not owe me anything as it was over 12 years old because It was second hand when I was given it 12 years ago
