It is true enough that some of us can look at a car & caravan together & decide if it looks right. However, judging from some questions asked on here some cannot. One can only hope they heed the advice that is offered.
I learned my lesson - very nearly the hard way (back in the 1970's)...
Bought first caravan. Hooked it up to my 2.0ltr Cortina (lol).. Seller said, "make sure you put all the weight in the back of the van".. Which I did and set off 20 miles home. Got about 3 miles and on a bend in the road the rear wheels lifted up clear of the tarmac.. Only saving grace was rear of caravan scraping on the road surface..
Terrified doesn't cover it! New trousers almost..!
That teaches you to understand noseweights and matching!
