I apologise in advance for this rant but sometimes you have to let it all out...
Told by the dealer that the parts haven't arrived from Bailey and they have spoken to Bailey who advise it may another two weeks before they arrive.
That will be six weeks that we have been without the van , in effect most of the summer.
The most annoying think is Baileys lack of response ,despite several emails to Bailey over the past month or so pleading for prompt action on this due to bookings already made for the summer hols.
All but a pipe dream now
No email or phone call from Bailey despite several email receipts stating that the emails had been read by various employees.
I keep thinking would you be happy if the garage rang you up and told you you couldn't have your car back for for 6 weeks due to some warranty work .....i think not and i know a garage wouldn't expect you to , why should we accept this as the norm for caravans ????
I don't know how customer service from other manufacturers compares ,love the van but when its time to upgrade we will think long and hard about getting another Bailey after this experience.
Latest instalment
After another two weeks of Bailey ignoring all my methods of contacting them i finally receive an email from them this morning.........telling me that that Remis are on holiday and believe !!!!! they may be back this week so will give me an update when they can.
Now approaching seven weeks since the problem reared its ugly head and still no sign of a conclusion.
