Thanks phil will take a look at our next council meeting at trying to get a bylaw in.
Take your point Tentz but I'm afraid as a PC councilor my answer phones top messages each day is about parking and lack of action against it.
The problem with the give and take scenario usually means majority should put up with minority who want to do just what they like no matter how inconsiderate to others.
Although in the posters enquiry I don't see a major problem if its only to put his van in or out ocasionally even though as Phil says its not strictly legal.
Some of our parking problems are caused by works vehicles parked every evening till morning on roads/pavements including Telecom ,Southern electric etc etc while their own cars stay at home parked in the drive
