Just spent the weekend on the top of the Brecon Beacons, yes we are mad but only as mad as all the others there. A full park and plenty of snow, sleet, sun, wind, then some more snow, and that was the first 5 minutes. Alltogether a good experience apart from the awning taking off like a balloon and tearing in one of the corners....Anyone know a repair shop???????

Just come back from a long weekend at Park Cliffe in Windermere - didn't sleep the first 2 nights; sat staring out the window wondering which gust of wind would be the one to finally send the awning on a Wizard of Oz trip skyward in a spin !  Nice dent down the side of the van too when one of the poles collapsed.

There were lots of tents in the camping field on Friday - unsurprisingly not many left come Saturday afternoon.

All things said though, we had a nice weekend and there is something quite comforting at waking up in the morning all cost and warm with a a few cm's of snow around the van.
