Lobey you mean they went back on their word about care for you mil. Like all others have.
I don't think so Chrissie. It is just that the phrase, "Free Health Care for the Elderly", is not as "all encompassing" as it would suggest.
I think the "Free" bit is Means Tested and as any Elderly Person who happens to be also a Houseowner has a fair amount of money tied up in property, that money has to be used until there is only about £3000 left and only then does the Free Health Care bit kick in.
Like most legislation, it sounds great on election brochures, but in practise it is not as good as it seems.
That is very true, it is written so flowery but getting down to the nitty gritty it is all the same.Do they ever actually keep to the words they speak, very rarely indeed, all of them. Still must not get political, nothing can be done about it.Is this what they meant saving for ones old age, even when we all know that generation went through hell on earth with very little to see for what they went through and some nothing at all. They saw too much also.Low wages etc for what.....
Im still waiting for THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF SOUTH YORKSHIRE to be established.. then you all, north or south, will have to pay the toll for using our bit of the M1. Its the only way we can think of getting money out of the south of watford crew
