They are brilliant, but any electric motor moving an object weighing over a ton will use quite a lot of power and hence drain the battery.  Weights vary.  We have a rhyno which is the lightest at 29kg.

They're great, weigh around 35 Kgs., and you can play with them for a couple of hours on a 110 amp battery.

We also have a Rhyno, having changed from a Truma. As Brian stated they are the lightest on the market, have all metal gearing and come with a full five year waranty.

The best accesory we have ever purchased.

I would not be without my mover, best thing I ever bought for the caravan, weighs about 30 kilo. but despite some long mover sessions, have never actually run my battery right down.

Absolutely.  In a few years, I think a caravan without a mover will be almost unsellable (rather like a car without its engine).

I now rarely reverse my car with the van coupled to it.  Why put unnecessary wear on the car when you can have the van follow you like a well trained dog?

Bertie.

We're having one fitted by our dealer who is repairing our van following it being stolen/recovered. he suggested a powertouch heavy duty, I hope this is a good mover, perhaps if it's not, someone will tell me so I can stop it being fitted.

The reason I need it is to drive the van forward into our drive & hitch it to a large RSJ I've concreted in with a hitch on it. I can reverse the van in with the car but not coe in forwards to hitch to the post. I think to post may help me keep the van here.

Give Powrtouch a ring, and tell them the make and model of your van. They will tell you which model of Powrtouch mover your dealer should be fitting.
