hi a warning to owners of new vans, bailey will not pay the warranty if water carriers are kept in the shower tray in transit,i know they can not prove it but will try.there is a sticker in ours to that fact.we use ours now and then, but if we have paid for showers why use your own?
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
I'm on the side of "facility users" on this one (unless on a CL)... I'de happily use the loo if needed overnight etc .... Apart from that i've never understood why someone would use a caravan shower with all the hassle associated, when a lot of sites have better showers, than some people have at home.
We have been tent campers for many years Jennfem and it doesn't bother us in the slightest that it might be raining (especially after 2 pretty wet weeks in France last summer!) Wanted a bit more comfort than an air bed and so have bought a caravan. I dont think anyone who enjoys outdoor life and camping would object to a drop of rain!!!
Yes, I can see that, but why, if you want more comfort, why not use the toilet?
If it was raining, no way would I go to the site facilities when I had my own!
Drying wet clothes is more hassle than emptying a toilet.
After all you have paid for it, why not use it? We use the site facilities when convenient, but the thought of emptying a chemical toilet would not put us off using it in inclement weather. I have a feeling you might gradually change your mind!
Hi, Just bought van with our first end bathroom and must say was a good decision, shower works great and is a pleasant change to commuting to sometimes far away shower blocks, also doubles up as good seperate changing room.Toilet used as well, as long as chemicals are in correct quantities, not a problem.
We fill our twin tub portable washer up in ours with the shower hose.. not anything outstandingly clever but its another use!!! We drain it in the wetroom so the sudsy water cleans it out and makes it smell nice..

Keep the blade closed, fill with wine bottles and cover with ice! Just don't forget during the night!!!!!!!!!!!
We drink the wine, then pour it down the toilet during the night. Much more practical.
After my shower, OH takes her shower. I service toilet (if needed), and refill aquaroll and empty grey water whilst OH dries off and wipes down shower cubicle.
Whole operation completed inside half-an-hour. And if anyone is finding the toilet duty unpleasant, then they are not doing things correctly.
