can anyone recomend a good caravan insurer. our van is a lunar ariane 6 berth but is 21 years old and no one wants to know apart from Adrian Flux but i would like to compare prices and policies if possible. do any of you trusty caravanners have a van this old and do you have trouble getting insurance. i ahve gone through the ones on this site but only one could help.

The only quotes I managed to get were from Adrian Flux, Shield and the Caravan Club.

To me Shield were happy to take your money but seemed not to want to insure certain things as in property

I reckoned the CC was probably the best but you do have to be a member

try this company they have a no age limit on caravan or owner

We have had 19 and 20 year old vans, insured both with the caravan club with no problem.

The Camping & Caravanning Club's own insurance is very good and reasonable cost. I think they do any age of caravan, they've insured all ours.
