It should be about 12.7v at any point in the circuit. 'Van circuits are fairly short so there should be virtually no voltage loss anywhere.

Meter on batt. can show as much as 13.75 when fully charged. (digital meter). But anything over 12 is OK. put it on trickle charge for 24hrs and check reading then.------------- Sue & Bob

Mine reads approx 13.3 fully charged, on both my digital multimeter, and car tuner.

My Abbey Vogue handbook states the battery is charged at 14.3v and in turn the battery is fully charged at 12.7v or so.
Your dealer may be repeating something he has been told Bob™57's table is a good illustration.
One reason you might see a different reading on the display is that a charger will provide a voltage greater than that in the battery when charging.
