Hi gang, our neighbour had his year old Coachman Atlantia stolen from his rear hardstanding last wednesday night. The old boy is in his eighties and caravanned for over 40 years and this is the first one thats ever gone walkies.
Hitchlocked, alarmed, wheelclamped and a chain over the drive and they stole absolutely everything! We live in a quiet town outside Swansea where nothing normally disappears of its own accord. This really does make me think twice about caravanning as i'm was going to upgrade next year.

We live near Neath but store our caravan in Llandow, Cowbridge.  It's a long way to go to get the caravan especially if we are going west but it's much safer there.  They have excellent security and insurance is cheaper because they have a recognised set of security procedures in place.  Part of the charge is offset by the cheaper insurance.

It's far from ideal but this is the world we live in these days.  Some people have no regard for others or their property.  Small towns and villages like ours are not immune anymore. Sad but true.

Atlantia is a dealer special from 3a Caravans I think, and its based on the Amara.
Spoke to him today and he is really gutted....its insured but thats not the point. Checked my van today and thankfully its untouched.
