Some time ago, a member suggested that a resin used in the motor trade would be suitable in place of the expensive repair kits on the market -if so what would we need to buy?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks

Hiya

Welcome to the board. I don't know what the resin is but there are some kits HERE from £13.99 + pp.

I did mine in my old Compass, 2 areas of about a square yard each. It cost me about £35, which when compared to what a dealer would ask I consider cheap.

Prepare to get messy though!!!

HTH

Paul

Michael,

I'm just researching all this delam stuff before diy-ing the springy/squeaky floor in my Mayfly. This O'Leary kit looks like the best of several for what it gives and its price. How well did it work for you?

TTC.
