We had to do an emergency repair jobby on our old, (VERY old ), Telt Larsen awning some years back but were lucky enough to get a patch up kit from the camp shop, (Pentewan), after gale force winds had ruined many an awnings, ripped the side of one caravan right off where the awning took off over the roof, flooded various others awnings and tents while all we suffered was through our, (my HUBBY'S to be precise ), own fault!
The number of times I'd told him NOT to prop our fishing rods up against the inside of the awnings side is nobody's business.....suffice to say....he aint done it since
The little repair kit was brill and as it turned out a really good match for the hole that was about the size of a 50p piece and lasted us for the rest of that awning's days which was quite a few more years. Of course, being such an old awning, it wasn't made of all the lightweight modern stuff, just good old.....heavy......cotton
