Hi

Does anyone know a Knaus caravan and are they any good?

Seen a 2004  KNAUS SUDWIND 6 berth, single axel that may fit my bill. I have requested more pics from the owner before I go and view. I though also cannot find a link to the brochure so I am seeking out to others.

Knaus have a good reputation, I believe.

The downside tends to be their weight - which usually puts them in the unfeasible category for anyone who doesn't have a large 4x4 to tow them with.

Knaus do some lovely vans - we're going to the Dusseldorf caravan show in August to have a better look.  My sons used to call the Sudwind a 500 wino - if you look at the decals on the back of the older models you'll see why.

I have a Knaus sudwind 550ku 2005, which i imported from a German dealer, its a great van but at 1500kg a bit heavy as said before you will need a 4x4 or something similar.
mines a 6 berth with fixed bunks & 2 doubles 1 at the front and 1 at the rear.
The dealer sent me some pictures before i went over i`ll try to post a link for you to see them
