Hi, can any one tell me where I can get the measurements for my Swift Signature 17/5 to buy an awning. I can't get near the place its stored due to the Tour De France being held here so all roads are closed and I need to get one by Thursday as going away for the weekend. I want to get a  Pdq so I think i only need the top rail length. Thanks! Newbie to caravaning, bought it end of last year and been away for two weekends so far.

Hi Babydaisy,

Yep I've been on internet for hours, cant find it listed on any thing. Its annoying as the storage place I use will be closed by the time they re-open the roads, if they even bothered to open today.

if you do manage to get to the "van in time, you need to measure from the ground below the awning rail, right round the rail to the ground at the other end, that will give the size you require, which i know isnt a lot of good if you cant get to the "van.....try cycling to the storage (sorry couldnt resist it ) i would have thought the local "swift" dealer would have the info ??

Hi, we didn't even bother trying to get over there, once OH came back from watching the race. I will have to try and send him over tomorrow, I start work at 7a.m. so he'll have to try alone. I thought the PDQ awnings only fit on the top rail, (its a smaller porch type we want for short hols, we have a full size one we've not used yet, saving it for the long hols in August). I have seen the one i like on ebay, I'll have to ask the seller which bit to measure. To be honest we are new to this so havent a clue   Thanks.

Best I can do is 950cm overall. Take off the standard van height at each end and you may come close.

Bit vague... sorry
