We bought a new Bailey ranger in April this year and have been away in it 5 times so far and 4 out of the 5 times we have been unable to get rid of  a squeeking noise coming from the front left support leg. Not sure why this is happening as we are new to caravaning. We have tried adjusting the leg to get rid of the problem but it will not go away

Has any body else had this problem, Is it a common problem, I could go back to my dealer, but want to make sure the problem is not being caused by us.

We have a Ranger 500/5 new in February and we have not had this problem. Assuming all the legs are fully down I would say it needs to be checked. May be have a look to see if all bolt are secure where the leg is attached to the frame. Failing that ask the dealer as they are responsible for any faults.

agree seems like the bolts loose,we have the 500/5 and no problem, the only way to prove its the leg is to raise it and walk up and down to see if it squeeks.if the bolts are firm holding the base plate to the floor try a spray of WD40 on the hinge.

the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
