does anyone out there put their awning on the other side of their caravan. my other half thinks this would be a good idea. do caravan sites actually allow you to do this? i wouldnt want everyone looking at us thinking we are crazy!
I have done it but we used it for shade and not to sleep in. You need to be aware that the vents/inlets/outlets for Fridges, heaters etc are often on the offside so it may fill with fumes and not be safe to sleep in
our fridge and cooker are on the normal awning side, ive never really thought about that, our 12 year old often sleeps in the awning as well. but the fire vents out of the roof and we never use the other appliances on gas anyway. only the oven, does that vent out of the roof too?
