just have just got a pdq awning and it was a doddle to put up.The trouble is putting it away!
How do you fold the sides in and get them to stay there?
It mentions using the velcro straps but where are they?
I know this question has already been asked but the answers made no sense(sry)

practical caravan in the latest issue have done a feature on them - I am thinking of buying a porch awning that I can manage quickly on my own, and was thinking of buying the latest one!! having second thoughts now
I've not had much of a problem with it, we just make sure we fold the ends in and roll it up very tight. Bit difficult in strong winds, but we managed it.
Fold the poles up and fasten the 2 velcro straps around them wich holds them together let the poles down onto the floor.
Take bottom corner of the sides wich are closest to the van when the awning is up and there are elastic hoops take them up to towards the centre of the bag and they hook onto 2 toggles now lift the poles up roll up into the open bag as tight as possible and there are 2 clip straps to hold it all in place.
zip the bag up job done
I love mine so quick and easy great for weekends its easy when ye mates shown ye how come on m8 when we off cotton arms?????

Just to be a bit clearer the ends that a closest to the van they are folded inside out. So take the outside left panel of the awning and fold it to the right of the awning there will be a toggle or velcro bit to attach it to, then do the same with the other side.
In effect you fold both sides of the awning inside out towards the centre of the van.
This makes an arrow shape to the awning I then use a hook to hang the point of the arrow to sides that have been folded in, just hook it to the highest peg rubber it will go to.
Then starting from the bottom tightly roll it up and then strap it up with the velcro straps.
I did find when mine was new it was a struggle to get back in the bag but after a few up's and downs it seems to loosen off and packs away very easy.
I love ours and think its great, would defo get another when this one expires.
Thanks for consise folding away instructions - not that i had any problems with mine.
But by following these instructions you end up with a neater job. I think PDQ have recently improved their 1page instructions to a x2pager.
I've found my PDQ awning does exactly what i wanted - a lightweight porch awning ideal for short stays. It requires good secure pegging out & it will then stand up to torrential storms as i've proved recently while staying at Hendre Mynach early this August.
Good value too, even though no skirting provided i used mine from my main awning.
