how many of you use your porch awning on the other side of your caravan for storage bikes golf clubs etc
and has anybody had any requests from sites to take it down

Quite common practice in France where your kids can camp on your pitch as well.

Sites can be a stuffy lot in this country though

In France you see porches/sun canopies as camp kitchens on the shady side and the awning/sun canopy on the sunny side.

We're off in 2 weeks - roll on. Weather will be fine by then

That would complicate things on those regimented sites where they insist you have the awning on one side and the car on the other,
