HI Dazzer

We bought a second hand Pyramid Tuscany £160 from Ebay (used once) to go with our new Sterling and find the quality OK. We previously had a Dorema, which feels more substantial, but didn't have £600 to buy the one we wanted.

The poles are definately up to the job, and the awning goes up easily enough, I like the quick lock pads better than the Dorema ones.

I pulled one of the zips off the first time I used it, but that was me being heavy handed, and I managed to fix it with a pair of pliers.

I would say that it won't last as long as a Bradcot/Dorema/Trio, but its no where near as expensive.

HTH

Paul

Hi, we have the 3M Orion and can highly recommend it. Extra space is great. It’s easy to put up (about 20 minutes after a few goes) and quality in my opinion is first-rate for the money. Like everything if you look after it well it should last.

we are looking at getting the 3mtr, orion when we change our caravan soon, we have a apache awning at the moment and that one has lasted us 10years and two caravans and still looks as good as new ,so will be looking to sell it and two bedrom extensions but sadly the new van will be bigger we thought the orion looked good value for money and to be honest unless you are constantly using the awning every time you go out the orion to us is well suitable, we use a awning 2 or 3 times a year for longer summer hols and other times we have a porch awning which suits us fine, so i would say value for money is good, though i always think the extension bedrooms etc are so so expensive!!!
