   Hi Was thinking of buying a hobby 540ul is it legal to tow this model with a normal car as I have read a lot of hobby models need to be towed buy a plated vehicle.Also hobbys seem to depreciate quicker than other makes is their a reason for this. Thanks Bill

I believe the 540 is the biggest you can go without a 3.5 ton plus commercial vehicle. 

The Maximum Size on the UK roads to be towed by a car is:

Maximum length (excluding coupling and drawbar)…….7 metres
