Hi, We have just upgraded our caravan to a 1995 Abi Award Daystar. It is fitted with an Electrolux fridge, and a carver 3000 heater with the blown air facility, also a 4 burner hob and oven. I am presuming all these items have an electronic ignition.... but switching everything on, i cannot get the heater or the fridge to run on gas... or ignite. but the cooker works fine... but you have to use a match.

Anyone got any ideas i would be grateful!!

The electronic ignition has a battery which may need replacing.

There is a way to replace the standard electronic ignition with a home made one using a coil from a car and a spark plug.  If you're stuck, post and I will do a diagram of the electrics for you.

Any idea where this battery that may nees replacing is... i had a look last night and couldnt find it anywhere.

 Have a look under the bottom left hand side of the fire unit and you may see a small plastic "drawer". This has a cover on it which can pull off to reveal an  AA battery. At least it does on my heater!
