I got there in the end.

Thanks to all the people on here for helping.

I picked up my van yesterday and my car last week.

I now have a 2002 2ltr Mondeo TDCi and a 1996 Bailey Ranger 500/4 .

Towing was very nice and easy, well after the first couple of miles anyway.

Well done, sounds like you have a well matched outfit there from memory of the weights etc.  Hope you have some fab holidays next year.

Yea planning on a trip weekend after next.

Somewhere local but not looked yet.

I have had a look and am very keen on Moreton-in-Marsh its a CC site an looks nice.

Also its only about 40 mins from home, far enough for a first weekend adventure.

So Diane how did you almost blow your van up on your first trip?

I am very nervous of how everything works etc, I know it will come but hopefully without any explosions along the way. 

Good story Diane it sounds like carry on camping, I hope I am a bit more lucky.

You seem the expert now though.

I dont need the corksrew Gaz I'm gonna be on sipping fine  Malt with my Brother.

My wife (Liz) thinks its toooooooooooooo cold for camping so my brother is going to come with me for the first trip.

The Kids will be with u on Saturday but Liz is going to pick them up on Sunday and we are staying on until Monday so I think the Malt will probably get finnished of Sunday night.

You need something to take the chill off.
