Personally, I would wholeheartedly recommend undercover storage.
Provided the indoor storage has good airflow, it does have many benefits:-
- The outside of the caravan stays free of green/black staining.
- The upholstery is protected from sunlight, without needing blinds/curtains.
- You can hitch up/unhitch in all weathers.
- Caravan is on dry surface, no grass growing, no dampness.
- Less likely invasion of insects/fieldmice.
- The tyres are protected from UV deterioration.
- The caravan is more protected from freezing.
- You may be able to keep other equipment under/behind your caravan, out of the weather i.e. roofbox/bike rack etc,.
and best of all, it keeps your caravan from ageing and hopefully you would recoup some (or all) of the additional storage costs when you come to sell.
