We need a complete jockey wheel as the bottom of ours has bent.  There seem to be various sizes but how do I measure which size I need please?  I know I could take current one to caravan accessory shop but have seen some reasonable ones on ebay.

Hi Christine, ive just looked on the towsure website &  the way they discribe them is by diameter so i asume you will have to measure around the main shaft of the jockey wheel to get the right size

sure way of measuring,unclamp complete jockey wheel assembly from a-frame,then unwind inner shaft from outer,measure diameter across outer at top.

this gives you the actual diameter of shaft to fit into clamp,also measure the diameter of your actual wheel,

best go for a pnuamatic wheel( one you put air into )better for when you have to move van around.

Hi Christine , when you say it's bent , do you mean the fork that the wheel sits in , or the actual wheel . If you want the whole assembey and winding handle measure the shaft diameter . Usually 42mm 48mm etc .

lots here,standard size is 48mm.but as said there are others.see
