Tried to book in our van for servicing and were told the earliest possible date is June and we have to take it in and fetch back on the same day, Friday. Used to be able to take it in on a Saturday and fetch back the following week. Has anyone else found this?

Guess we're lucky then - phoned on Monday and booked ours in with the dealer we bought it from (still under their warranty as it was a used 'van).  Dropping it off Saturday 9th and picking it up a week later, £145 including VAT but plus any extras.  Gets the walls washed but we have to pay an extra £30 inc VAT to have the roof done - be worth it though so we can lie in bed clearly seeing the stars through the Heki - it's a little grubby just now!!

They're going to fix a few other bits - a sliding door that doesn't, the catch that came off the storage space under the oven, check the seals around the fridge vent and water heater after we had to replace them (some muppet hit the 'van but that was the only damage - phew!), and they're going to grease the bits of the mover we had fitted (not by them).  Apparently no charge for any of that - yippee as pitch fees for the season are due at the end of February!

Picking new one up saturday so next service will be next feb.

Usually do same they have van for a week as we cant collect it in between.

I just had mine serviced and dropped the van off on the Saturday and then picked it up the following week.

Mrs Bonce, you don't mention if your van is new or within the three year warrenty deal. If it is then a mobile man may invalidate your warrenty.
