had a similar problem (after things fell out of an overhead locker because of speed bumps!), but had three or four bad dents....
As said, like honeycomb inside, so just bought a sheet of (almost) identical laminate from local DIY, cut it very slightly oversize, sanded the original table top and glued the new laminate on with Evostick; when dry, just filed/sanded the edge until it matched.... can't see the join!

We have an 2007 Abbey Vogue 540, and we accidentally created a small dent / hole in the side dinette table. We contacted the dealer who quoted us £138 for a replacement, and best of all, without the fixings, which I would have to reuse from the damaged table myself!!
