Hi
The tyres on my van have cracked walls and are ready for replacement. Where do you take your caravan for them changing - do normal places like Kwik fit do them ????

I'd suggest you ask your local caravan dealer who they use, we have a large caravan dealership near us turning over a lot of vans, I go to the tyre depot they use & they always have tyres in to fit. They're up to speed on the Tyron bands too.

Hi
I use a local tyre dealer.
Just make sure the tyres you get are the tyres as specified by the manufacturer, or preferably better. I refer to the tyre load index, not the make or tread.

can you not remove the wheels and take to a tyre dept?you need 6 or 8 ply tyres to take the weight of the caravan.car tyres are not suitable.it could be the cheapest option. ------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Try Roundhouse tyres in Whelley, Wigan.
They put a decent pair, (8 ply), on for me today and charged £98. I could have got cheaper, but decided to pay the extra for greater piece of mind.
Cheers.

I need you to tell that to SWMBO Michael, as I've yet to pluck up the courage to tell her how much I keep spending on our new toy.
Cheers,
Jim.

Go to a reputable caravan dealer - I just had all three changed at £52 each. They tend to be cheaper than Kwik Fit and after all your caravan dealer is in the know!
After experiencing a blow out and the subsequent damage never ever take risks on the only contact your caravan has with the road (well unless you roll it of course ). Not only is your van but your family relying on those bits of rubber,
