hi, parents just bought a suncamp 360 awning off ebay, and when theyve opened it up to try, the plonkers whom they purchased off have put it away wet. The windows have severley misted in places. Any advice on whether they can be brought back to life??????????

Thanks in advance Andrea

Ours have misted when folded wet but once up and the sun is on them seem to go back to normal.

When ours where bad we cleaned them of with neat  fairy liquid and then wiped it off with a clean cloth this seamed to clear it altogether.

Sounds interesting, does this not seem to be a permenant problem then. I thought once they were misted they are knackered. They used it last weekend at chorley from Fri to Sun, and it didnt clear. could that be because it was minus 10 degrees.!.... does the sun have magical powers?

does the sun have magical powers?

Yes, when it shines the world seems a nicer place, people smile and talk to others, even the flowers start to appear. It even makes folk pack up, or hitch on and head off at every opportunity   Roll on summer!

Good luck with the awning windows.  I found the washing up liquid was a good job!!

Ours have misted in mornings but soon clears once sun out.  But suppose if its really cold and with body heat all day they wont clear.

If put away slightly damp will be condensation next time but never been a problem for us.
