I'd be interested in a 'straw poll' of caravanners to see what is judged to be the best user friendly, value for money, well built caravan for a maximum of say, £14000.
I'm always wary of the magazine tests, as unless they are long term tests we'll never know how the hinges and fittings, cushions and cookers, stand up to wear and tear.
We use them so we're best judges I'd say, so what would you buy today if you had the choice, and a free handout of £14,000 of course, and why?

Hi, We have an Abbey Spectrum 418. with the rear bathroom layout, had it 8 years now and everything still in good working order, for 14K you will get a nice van with the layout you like, look in the C.C. magazine some nice ones for sale there.
Hope this helps.

We believe you can't beat a Bailey and for under £14k you can have any of their Discovery, Ranger or Pageant series which gives about 20 layouts to choose from. See their website

Interesting how in these posts each recommendation is usually the one owned by the poster ... hardly impartial !
