Yes, Pound shops and Argos do a cutlery set for £2 or £3.

I always buy cheap stuff as it tends to gets lost/broken!

Our cutlery was in a pack of 16 ( there's only 2 of us). It was £3 in Asda. Stainless steel too.

I take disposable plastic glasses and cutlery. They don't break if they fall and even if you are a tree hugger who hates the throwaway culture, you can wash and reuse them.

asda and all the supermarkets sell stuff aimed at folk setting up home for the 1st time, good quality and cheap. ideal for the van. also try freecycle and ask friends/family. someone usually has cutlery/crockery/pots and pans that are no longer used
