Hi we are looking for a caravan with a fixed bed and a L-shaped lounge.  Any ideas on what sort of make to look out for?  Budget wise about £6,000 - £8,000, and as new as possible.

Thanks

Iain and Lou

We've got a Bailey Pageant Vendee which has a fixed bed and L shaped lounge. They are quite rare but you should find one if you're prepared to travel although they will probably be towards the top end of your budget.

Swift Challenger 550 LSE , i like mine a lot . You should be able to pick up a 2004 for about £8000 , maybe even a bit less . Are you sure you really want a L shape , it would be ok for 2 , but if like us , there's 4 of you it will be a real struggle at meal times .

Have a look at the posts ref flood damage. Also there's a lot of vans coming on the market which have had a lot of wear and tear in the last 8 months due to them being used as accommodation for people who have been flooded out of their homes.
