Just bought the Which caravan & am waiting to speak to Bailey helpline (actually closes 12.30 to 1.30 for lunch) to confirm if parrellel front rather than L shaped. This would seal our deal on a series 6.
However Durham, in there there is an advert for Reads Caravans & they are quoting Loire at £12,995. These are being sold as "08 discontinued touers". I have called them & they do have a provence in stock so will go to Lowdhams on Thursday & haggle like mad. Hopefully we will get the same deal. Will keep you informed
Bailey are really good value anyway so if it is an 07 or an 08 - in 3 or 4 years time if and when you sell it who will really care as long as the layout inside is a popular/good one it will make no difference - buy what you like the look of and what suits you - enjoy it and have fun - then look forward to buying another new one when you are bored with it
I saw that Reads price of £12995 yesterday and sent them an e mail, as it was very early morning, pushing like crazy I asked them to email their very very best price for cash with no trade in and also what else they would throw into to close a deal(water hog, waste hog, Full size 10 cate canopy perhaps??)
One of them rang me back but the message was so garbled that I could not hear a name or an offer, although I suspect they want to talk direct (tactics) rather than mail me a written offer.
I sent anorther mail last night telling them their mesage was garbled and I am hard of hearing (true) so would prefer contact by mail. As yet nothing.
I dare not mention this latest pursuit to the family otherwise I reckon I will be with the other poor souls at terminal 5!!

Hi all, has anyone ordered a series 7 yet, I ordered a burgundy 2 days ago, i am expecting delivery the first week in july.
I am interested in what are the differences between series 6 and series 7?
Ann we've recieved an e-mail tonight from Bailey about the Series 7. I've tried to copy it but it won't let me! It says that they are going to be 7'6" wide, and lists the layouts. 2 birth Monarch, 4 bed Champagne both with end bathroom, 4 birth nearside fixed bed Burgandy, 4 Birth offside Bordeux, 5 Birth Provence now has parallel front seating, and the Bretagne now has same layout as the new Ranger, with the triple bunk arrangement, on a single axel.
Two Twin axel models, the new Loire and a new Limousin, which is based on the Senator Wyoming layout. Joty

We are looking for our first caravan, I have been really looking forward to the launch of the series 7 Bailey pagent. I went to our local dealer Monday who has the Bretagne and the Monach in on show. I came home really disappointed, the colour of the teak? This is definetly an aquired taste!
I much prefer the series 6, in the provence layout, separate shower and L shaped lounge.
I am looking forward to going to the NEC in October to look at all the other models now!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
