Depends on how bad it is, If it's bad you'll never get rid of the smell it seems to 'cling' to everything, I know many people with older vans with slight leaks and they seem to be ok if they have decent ventilation, but if it's really took hold and the walls etc are soaked it wont be too good for you

You wouldnt want to sleep in a cold, damp 'van- if its been standing over winter & smells musty-check for obvious signs of water ingress--if you have gas or electric heater run it full blast with roof vent slightly open until it drys out a bit---if it has water ingress it has to be fixed--a leaky caravan is not viable in a UK climate--
Yes it has leak, but i am fixing it in the next couple of days. just wanted to know if its alright to use for a couple of months until i can repair it properly.
hey up alladin - van should be fine to use would get it sealled asap depending on age of van i would seriously consider getting a quote for repair as water and caravans are a distructive combinations. keep an eye out for tell tell signs of ruttleing on the inside and soft areas. Most caravan repairers will be able to give your van a once over quite quickly to letnyou know the extent of any damage ?
