Help.

I have a 91 Lunar clubman 460/4.  It has a carver cascade 2 water heater. This works great. I have a carver trumatic 3002 gas heater.  This works ok. But this is my problem.  I also have a switch on the wall which is a caravelle 4.  It has a switch and a dial.  when i switch it on the green light flashes.  I dont know what its for.  what the button does. The Gas fire works. The water heater works.  So whats the switch for.  Its driving me doolally.  Could anyone please put me out of my misery.

What you have is a Caravelle 4 control switch to operate the SBE1800 electronic control gas fire Carver made from 82 until 89.

As you actually have a SPL3002 gas fire it suggests the original fires been taken out and replaced with the 3002, the switch would be left in place to cover the holes it would otherwise leave behind.

Problem is though, it very much suggests your van is not as young as you think!!
