Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
We're going to be out of the country for this year's Millenium Magic, but are thinking about taking our caravan to next year's. So, I'd be interested to hear of any recommendations.
Lizzo
BTW We're Bulls fans - not looking forward to playing Leeds again in a hurry!!
I am also a Hull FC fan and my son also, we are season pass holders and slot in caravan weekends around the fixtures.
Monday was as bad for us as you bulls fans on thursday. But im sure they cant keep up that pace all season and maybe the bulls can pay them back for what happened at last millenium magic.
I was also thinking about taking caravan to cardiff area next year especially as its a bank holiday weekend.
Your best bet would be to stay at Sophia Gardens which is a 5 minute walk from the Millenium Stadium. I recommend you book ASAP though as it is likely to fill up quickly.
Other than that, you won't find much in the way of campsites in Cardiff. You have the CC site at Tredegar Park in Newport, or you are looking at heading out towards Llantwit Major in the other direction. Either way, you are looking at about 20 miles from Cardiff. Tredegar Park is the most accessible if you don't manage Sophia Gardens, but is a distant second as far as location is concerned in my opinion.
Cheers for the site recommendation, 'LegsDown' - looks very handy - I will check the reviews.
I'm thinking/hoping exactly the same as you, Terry, I'm sure the Rhinos will stumble eventually - and hopefully in Cardiff! The events of last year took some getting over, and I'm not sure I have got over it yet! We play you guys next Friday - lets hope for a cracker of a game. We were going to go, but booked a weekend away in the caravan instead. Well, like you, we have to fit our caravanning trips around the home games!
my other half won a ticket for the sunday matches but unfortunately we arent going well its a very long day if just go on coach for the day as we did that last year without kids and it was very tiring and the next morning we was booked to go camping
cant understand why they are having the roof shut yet again, look how slippery the pitch was last year
come on you 'Ullllllll
We have a satelite dish rigged up to our caravan so we'll be watching it in there, my other half is a kr fan and me and my lad are fc fans so just hope we win this year
earlier on in the year i did contact a few sites but one said that you cant book as its first come first served which i think is bad cos you cant travel all that way hoping you can manage to get on and another site was fully booked up

I was a Salford City Reds supporter ( stop laughing ) and prior to that as a kid in the 60's I was a Swinton supporter and my Dad promised to take me to Wembley when they got there, Wembley has been demolished and rebuilt and still waiting to see them play there.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
