You need a good aerial is the con. These USB stick TV tuners, both analog and digital, all work great if you can get a strong signal, and the little space ship omni directional aerials that are fitted to most caravans are next to useless.
That said I managed to get my USB Freeview stick working on my laptop using the caravan's aerial over the weekend, but I was less that 5 miles from the main N.Wales transmitter and had line of sight. With a good signal it works a treat, as good as watching it on a normal telly.
