I recently had curtains made by CARAFABRICS, found via ebay. The transaction was done entirely by email. I sent measurements and a photo of my upholstery and Sheila sent back photo swatches of suitable fabrics she had. I'm delighted with the curtains. Contact via her ebay shop (search for it in shops - carafabrics), or e mail her:shecamp at tiscali.co.uk, or phone her on 07962001347.
I had 4 pairs made with linings and tie back, they cost £84 inc. postage. One thing though, I found the ite backs a little skimpy, so if you do purchase from her say you'd like them to be a good size.
If you contact her, tell her Tracy Sheppard recommended!
Google it and click on anything that comes up. There's lots out there. You can also buy the popper tapes to make your own.. Also contact your awning manufacturer for eplacements.

If you know anyone that is handy with a sewing machine, then they are quite easy to do. And like Jadonamy says you can get the popper tape. My wife made new curtains for our Sprite. She got the material and popper tape off ebay for less than £50. And with the material she made curtains for five windows and a curtain for the sleeping area at the back of the caravan.

I bought 32 metres of fabric on a roll for less than £2 per metre, out of that I've made 3 pairs of curtains for inside the van, door curtains, 4 pairs of awning curtains, 4 scatter cushion covers, 1 seat cushion cover, toilet window blind, double duvet cover and 2 pillowcases, and covered 2 lampshades, 3 pelmets and 2 backrests, and I've still got loads of fabric left. It's worked out much cheaper than buying them or paying to have them specially made.

When we had our motorhome, I made ours from scratch. All sewn by hand.
First night with them in, Peter went outside and discovered that they were see-though when the lights were on.
Could have been very embarrasing
Whoops Karen not very good. Hope you undressed with the lights out
I made awning Curtains out of a Duvet - yes a Duvet and cotton sheets cos I didn't like the ones that came with the van. (Which I believe were not the originals - too heavy) I contacted NR Awnings and purchsed the little gliders At least mine are original. Also made cusions to match. lol

I wanted to replace my curtains as being blue velvet it made the van feel like it belonged to a fortune teller - all I needed was to charge on the door! We found someone who advertised at the local caravan showroom and they would charge £100 for 14 curtains. We went to Dunelm and found some fabric for £3.50 a metre and then I decided to take the plunge and buy myself a sewing machine for £99. Using the old curtains as templates and buying some popper tape, I successfully made all the curtains and am quite chuffed at my achievement, having never made curtains before. So for the £100 I would have paid someone, I now have my own machine to use for future projects!
Curtains are the easiest thing to make because there are only straight edges to sew. Anyone with a sewing machine, and minimum experience can save a fortune making their own. I always made my own curtains for home and caravan, and covers for the seat cushions too. but I don't sew any more. sometimes it can even work out cheaper to buy ready made curtains and cut them to size for a caravan, sometimes a lot less than buying fabric off the roll.keep an eye out in the sales.
I was really fed up of the faded pink dralon ones so set about looking for a company who would make new ones at a reasonable price.......then I had a brain wave!! I went to Dunelm and bought 2 sets of 90x90 curtains in the same fabric cut them to size and just hemmed them, they look fantastic and made a huge difference to our van!
