Sorry to bring up an old subject again

I have just bought an Elddis Tornado XL '91 with a Cascade 2 water heater.

My question is, if it was the gas + 240v mains model, would the panel with the switch and 3 light's have a thermostat built in (mine doesn't)?

This is my second caravan, but it's the first with hot water... do I leave the water heater on for the duration of my stay on site, or only switch it on when I require the hot water - if so, how long before the water would be up to temperature?

leave on full time if you like,but on gas it could cost you.it gets to 70 then stays there.about 20/30 minites to heat up.

Would the 9 litre tank capacity be enough for a decent shower, or would it need to be a quicky only?
