On my Bailey Provence Series 5, the only awning rail access points are at each end, none at eye level as on every other 'van I've had, is this the norm?
As you can imagine, unrolling 4.1 mtr awning then feeding up & round 90 degree bends at roof level is a bit of a trial, same when using Isabella crown full awning... Is it possible to have rail opened up at (say) eye level to allow easier starting?
I have a series 6 pageant burgundy which is more or less the same and when i fitted my fiamma caravanstore which is 3.8 metre's i just got my better half to hold the pole section while i fed it through the awning rail , it went no problem the same for my venturer awning. As for opening up the awning rail it might be possible but you risk breaking the waterseal if you were prizing the rail wider best consult your local bailey dealer
