I have just bought a new "Kojak" hydraulic caravan jack which is marketed by Purple Line.  While travelling, it leaked hydraulic fluid all over my car boot and ruined a mat. 

Looking for help, I emailed Purple Line who more or less said don't bother us - take it back to Towsure. 

Has anyone had a similar problem or know what happened?  There is nothing to help in the instructions.

I can;t comment on the piece of kit, but regarding faulty goods, Purple Line are correct in that your contract is with the supplier not the manufacturer of the item, so Towsure should sort out any problems you have with faulty goods etc..

Yes I understand that - I'm not trying to claim anything from them I was just looking for some help from the people who market it in case I had done something wrong!

Sadly these days everyone wants to cover their backside instead of trying to help.
