We have just bought a 2005 sprite firebrand caravan.somebody we know who had a caravan said not to use the shower, as this would be the first place you would get damp.is this true? surely the shower is there to be used and this area should be very water tight. Thats the whole idea to me of having a caravan is the shower area and toilet. anybody shed any light on this area
I think it might depend on the type of shower it is, wallboard and shower curtain or full shower (plastic casing thingy). Ours has wallboard and a shower curtain and we do use the shower but after we shower we use a window squeegy to get the excess water off the walls, we leave the curtain open to let it dry as well as leaving the roof vent open. Trying to prevent water ingress would be better than just leaving it I would imagine but seen as this is our first new van I can't really comment from personal experience but do believe you should be able to use the facilities you have on board or what is the point of having it
