Hi We have found a seasonal pitch with a site we love, but the only pitch they have left is under a big tree. Can anyone tell me if the sap will damage our caravan, as I dont think they will allow us to cover it. Please Help
I'd try and get them to change the pitch next season, there's always someone who leaves. The trees make your roof filthy, it gets down the sides and in the autumn the leaves are a darned nuisance - so are acorns, chestnuts, crab apples falling off......but worst of all, you can hear the branches creaking in high winds and you wonder if one is going to fall on you in the night!!
I have just had to move my van as I had it under a tree last season, thought it would keep it more shaded for my cat, but everytime I went to it, it was covered in bird poo and stuff. Had to wash it everytime I went and it got a bit much.
