Hi, i'm looking to know if anyone knows somewhere in northern ireland that will resize my caravans awning. I've tried the only place I know that used to do it and they have not got a clue of anyone over here that can help.
What size is your awning and what size are you looking for?
I have a new unused NR Executive awning 1020-1050 that I bought for our new van, but its the wrong size. Its now spare and cheap. They want £500 to change it!!
It not a big awning dbobd. We only have a small caravan. The old one is an 875cm pyramid corsican awning. We now need an 850cm awning for the new caravan. Shame really as the old one has only been used once and that was in france last year, never even been wet.
Hi David, I may be totally wrong here but have you actually tried the awning on your new van? 25cm seems a very small amount especially when you think of it as 12 1/2cm each side. Its worth a try before you spend all that dosh on a new one.
Yes we have tried it on the van and you would not believe how much bigger it is. Pyramid size 875cm actually has a range of 860cm to 884cm so it may be more than 25cm as the new awning may have the same sort of sizing ie it could be 850cm but the range is from 835cm to 859cm. strange but true
