The lure of a bargain and the thought of not spending money had my husband in trouble.....
He bought a bargain at a second hand stall recently, a small 29 litre Aquaroll complete with rolling handle. He was really chuffed with himself until the first time he tried to use it and found he couldn't get the pump through the hole at the top!!!! He hadn't realised that either modern pumps have got bigger, or old Aquarolls had smaller screwtop filler holes! Ever resourceful he found an old steel cup from a thermos in his shed just the right size to act as a bung, so he drilled a new hole in the top and shoved in his cup as a bung! Sounds bizzare, but it seems to work.
I went to a car boot this morning ,a lady had an Aqua-roll for sale £15, But on inspection it was an earlier model with only a small opening, Beleive me, you might see them for about £20, but it will last you many years so a good investment, Like it was said earlier try to get one with a side fill as well as top fill, its a lot easier to fill and transport, another idea but worth it in the long term is a waste master for you old dirty water, just pick up and pull away, but around £30 second hand and will save your other halfs back,

wee tip for the aquaroll if you use one, make sure the side filler is very tight if not you will lose a load of water (guess who's wasnt recently)
Not got the centre bung on either of mine so no problem, just got to remember to check the seal in the cap every season!
My last two outtings I have tied a steel rope like the ones you get for a bike covered in plastic, to chain both my aquaroll and waste master to each leg of my van with a pad lock on each, I think £5 each from Netto , its a pain when we get other people thieving them, After my last trip I came back with 18 barrels Nudge nudge, any takers?
